– while there was a good selection of food, and the egg cooking station produced very tasty meals, the quality of some of the options need to be higher for a 5*; in particular the quality of the fruits.

Hamed, at Club Intercontinental Lounge concierge, took amazing care of our check in and check out. He was sincere and gracious and we felt very welcomed to Intercontinental. He was so good during check in that I specifically looked for him to do our check out. He was efficient, super nice and explained everything very clearly.
Staff, from luggage handlers to waiters/waitresses to room service/cleaners/laundry, were absolutely amazing. My laundry was always sent back on time and in amazing condition. They even hard confirmed before proceeding with any laundry that was already damaged before sending for dry cleaning/washing.
Stayed in the SuperKing Classic. Room was incredibly spacious. Bed was massive. There is hot water for showering and the water is nice to shower with, compared to other hotels where water is hard or feels weird. Would recommend bringing a HDMI wire to plug in your phone to the TV if you wish to stream Netflix or other apps. The TV in my room was a Samsung. Room was cleaned everyday and it was impeccable. Towels, bath and hand, were replaced everyday.
One of the nights, I was unwell and they were kind enough to send hot water in a tea pot with some lemon slices and 2 small jars of honey.
Breakfast was absolutely amazing. They have an egg station. They also have an indian food station which served roti canai and thosai. Ample choices for cereal and juices. I am a vegetarian so, i was pretty impressed with the spread. I do hope they could provide vegetarian noodles/fried rice for breakfast though. Usually, hotels would only have 2 choices for juices and cereal but this hotel had 4 choices for juices and, if i remember correctly, 4 choices of cereal. Staff at breakfast lounge were extremely polite.
Club lounge was clean, quiet and cozy. The waiters/waitresses there were super nice and very attentive. One of the waiters even showed his concern by asking me if I am okay, as I was limping due to an injury to my knee. Great place to get some work done on your laptop or just chill. Their afternoon tea and evening cocktails are great!
Used the gym. It was clean and had many equiments. I also used the Spa, Sompoton Spa. Great service and massage provided by masseuse, May. She was so good that I went there 3 times! Please keep in mind that this is a relaxing massage, not Thai massage so please do not expect them to massage very hard. I absolutely loved it because my body is usually tensed so I definitely do not like very hard massages as they hurt alot. This massage was perfect. They do other massages and if im not wrong, some skin care as well so, do check it out.
Helpful ReviewLocation: Good location. It is walking distance from KLCC and a few other malls. You are pretty much in the centre of KL. Lots of food options to choose from Grab Food due to the location of the hotel.
All in all, 10/10 stay! It was definitely a memorable stay. I have even placed another hotel booking from 24 Dec to 29 Dec and recommended my relatives/friends to stay here.

January 21, 2024 at 6:16 pmBuilding is not new but some of the rooms are newly renovated. Breakfast buffet spread is quality food choices. Club lounge spread and amazing as well. Plus their hotel staff are all amazing. Well service!!!
